100 % online with 60 day access: Develop your skills from the comfort of your home office.

This workshop is an opportunity to deepen your expertise in depression treatment using EMDR Therapy.

Don’t miss out on a chance to expand your EMDR therapeutic toolkit and help clients with chronic depression reprocess painful memories, replace negative beliefs, and build resilience

Course Description

The EMDR protocol for treating depression adapts the standard EMDR protocol to address the unique features of depression, particularly chronic or treatment-resistant cases, where unresolved painful memories contribute to persistent negative beliefs and maladaptive emotional patterns.

Since its inception in 2010, the EMDR Depression European Network (EDEN) has explored the powerful role that unresolved painful memories play in depression. To address these memories and the depressive states associated to them, EDEN developed an EMDR protocol for depression which targets "depressive memories" and that’s been proven effective in numerous clinical studies to alleviate depressive symptoms, and reduce the likelihood of relapse.

This workshop will introduce you to EDEN’s pioneering EMDR protocol, equipping you with the latest tools to transform your approach to treating depression. Through theory, clinical examples, and video demonstration to illustrate key points, you will gain practical skills and insights, making it easier to integrate this protocol into your clinical practice

Workshop Highlights:

  • Gain a comprehensive understanding of EDEN’s EMDR protocol for depression

  • Learn strategies to improve the therapeutic relationship through resource enhancement

  • Observe case studies and video examples to see techniques in action
